Brooks Custom is New York’s premiere destination for live edge wood counter and table tops. Stocked with one of the best selections of premium wood slabs, Brooks is the only location in the area where designers can hand-pick their slabs and work with the skilled craftsmen to make their vision come to life.

All of our live edge slabs are personally hand-selected by owner, Richard Brooks, and are chosen for size, grain, and figure. Once home in our shop, the slabs are machine-flattened on a CNC and kiln dried to remove access moisture to prevent future cracking or warping. To serve as a fully functional countertop, the tops are sealed, any cracks are filled with resin, and is topped off with our signature, tough as nails, Marine Oil Finish. The slabs shown in our inventory are presented at maximum length and width, and are meant to be cut down and configured to meet your specifications.
